Overview
The Freelance HEOR Consultant / HTA Statistician will provide expertise in health economics and outcomes research, collaborating with a global life sciences consultancy to support pharmaceutical and biotech organizations. The role focuses on advanced analytics, evidence synthesis, and methodological innovation, applying quantitative methodologies to a variety of health-related projects. The position is remote, allowing for flexible full-time engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct advanced evidence synthesis projects, including NMAs, ITCs, MTCs, and pairwise meta-analyses.
- Design and execute statistical analyses of clinical trial and real-world data, including survival and utility analyses.
- Develop and review outputs from systematic literature reviews, feasibility assessments, and network diagrams.
- Apply advanced quantitative methodologies such as MAICs, simulated treatment comparisons, and meta-regression.
- Contribute to thought leadership and continuous improvement in advanced analytics and evidence synthesis.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering HTA, evidence synthesis, or advanced analytics projects within a consultancy or CRO.
- Strong knowledge of statistical software/tools including R, Python, SAS, WinBugs, Stata, etc.
- Experience with advanced quantitative methodologies and statistical analysis in health outcomes research.
