Overview
The Freelance HEOR Consultant and HTA Statistician will play a crucial role in supporting pharmaceutical and biotech organizations by conducting advanced analytics and evidence synthesis for market access and health economics initiatives. Working remotely, this role involves leading complex projects and employing a range of statistical methodologies to deliver high-quality outputs that inform decision-making within the life sciences sector. The consultant will collaborate with other experts and contribute to methodological innovations in evidence generation strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct advanced evidence synthesis projects, including network meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons.
- Design and execute statistical analyses using clinical trial and real-world data.
- Develop and review outputs for systematic literature reviews and feasibility assessments.
- Apply advanced quantitative methodologies such as MAICs and meta-regression where appropriate.
- Contribute to thought leadership and continuous improvement initiatives in advanced analytics.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering HTA, evidence synthesis, or advanced analytics projects within a consultancy or CRO.
- Strong proficiency in statistical software/tools including R, Python, SAS, and Stata.
- Experience with a variety of statistical methodologies for evidence synthesis and analysis.
