Overview
We are looking for a Freelance HEOR Consultant / HTA Statistician to join a leading global life sciences consultancy on a six-month contract. This remote position will focus on advanced analytics and evidence synthesis for projects supporting pharmaceutical and biotech clients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead various statistical analyses and contribute to innovative methodologies within the field.
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct advanced evidence synthesis projects including network meta-analyses, indirect treatment comparisons, mixed treatment comparisons, and pairwise meta-analyses.
- Design and execute statistical analyses on clinical trial and real-world data, including survival analyses and regression methodologies.
- Develop and review systematic literature review outputs, network diagrams, and feasibility assessments.
- Apply advanced quantitative methodologies such as MAICs, simulated treatment comparisons, and meta-regression where appropriate.
- Contribute to methodological innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within evidence synthesis.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Proven experience in delivering HTA, evidence synthesis, or advanced analytics projects within a consultancy or CRO.
- Strong knowledge of statistical software tools, specifically R, Python, SAS, WinBugs, Stata, etc.
- Ability to manage flexible work hours, committing to approximately 5 days per week.
