Overview
The Freelance HEOR Consultant / HTA Statistician will work remotely to support pharmaceutical and biotech organizations in market access, health economics, and evidence generation strategies. Focusing on advanced analytics and evidence synthesis, the consultant will collaborate on projects involving statistical analyses and methodological innovation. This role offers flexibility in working hours and aims for an ASAP start within a 6-month contract, which has the potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct advanced evidence synthesis projects, including network meta-analyses (NMAs) and indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs).
- Design and execute statistical analyses using clinical trial and real-world data.
- Develop and review systematic literature review outputs and feasibility assessments.
- Apply advanced quantitative methodologies such as MAICs and meta-regression.
- Contribute to methodological innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Hands-on experience in delivering HTA, evidence synthesis, or advanced analytics projects in a consultancy or CRO.
- Strong knowledge of statistical software/tools, specifically R, Python, SAS, WinBugs, and Stata.
- Familiarity with conducting survival analyses, utility analyses, and regression-based methodologies.
