Overview
We are seeking a Freelance HEOR Consultant / HTA Statistician to join a global life sciences consultancy specializing in market access and health economics. The contractor will be responsible for leading advanced evidence synthesis projects and statistical analyses, collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality outputs. This is a remote role offering flexible working hours, suited for skilled professionals across the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct advanced evidence synthesis projects including network meta-analyses, indirect treatment comparisons, and pairwise meta-analyses.
- Design and execute statistical analyses utilizing clinical trial and real-world data.
- Develop and review systematic literature review outputs and feasibility assessments.
- Apply advanced quantitative methodologies such as MAICs and meta-regression where applicable.
- Contribute to methodological innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in analytics.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Hands-on experience with HTA, evidence synthesis, or advanced analytics projects in a consultancy or CRO setting.
- Strong knowledge of statistical software/tools including R, Python, SAS, WinBugs, and Stata.
- Experience with advanced statistical methodologies relevant to health economics and outcomes research.
