Overview
We are seeking an experienced Front End Engineer to take on a crucial role in a major transformation project, focused on building and launching multiple rebranded websites using React, JavaScript, and AI-assisted development workflows. The contractor will collaborate closely with the Head of Development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, production-ready websites efficiently while enjoying a dynamic and supportive working environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, production-ready websites using React and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with the Head of Development to manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Refine, troubleshoot, and productionize code effectively.
- Deploy web applications and monitor their performance post-launch.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in frontend development and testing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Front End or Full Stack Engineer.
- Strong commercial experience with React and JavaScript.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver modern web applications in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience deploying own code to production.
- Experience with Adobe AEM is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload.
