Overview
We are seeking an experienced Front Office Business Analyst to join a leading Renewable Energy Trading organization that is driving innovation in sustainable energy production and trading. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with traders, technology teams, and various business functions to enhance real-time trading capabilities and optimize workflows critical to the UK’s energy transition.
Responsibilities
- Gather and define business and functional requirements for trading systems.
- Map processes and design solutions to improve front office workflows.
- Support enhancements to front office systems and product feature definition.
- Collaborate with trading, data, and technical engineering teams to refine tools and processes.
- Contribute to the development of the next generation energy trading platform roadmap.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in the Energy, Commodity, or Power Trading sectors.
- Direct front office exposure working with traders, quants, or structurers.
- Proven ability to gather and convert business needs into functional requirements.
- Experience with real-time, event-driven trading systems is highly desirable.
- Understanding of trade lifecycle, market data, pricing, and forecasting.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration with software engineering teams.
