Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer for an 8 to 12 weeks contract fully remote position with a rapidly growing EdTech company. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Founder, Product Team, and Designers to enhance a flagship digital platform that focuses on career discovery and skills development for young people. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality and secure software solutions, integrating learning management systems, and maintaining a user-friendly experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance features across a modern learning and careers platform using React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Develop secure, scalable solutions that accommodate thousands of users.
- Integrate the platform with external systems, including Moodle LMS, utilizing APIs and modern authentication methods.
- Help shape the platform architecture to ensure reliability and security.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver impactful functionalities.
- Champion engineering best practices through code reviews and technical collaboration.
- Investigate and resolve technical challenges across the application stack.
- Create comprehensive documentation to support successful project delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building modern web applications.
- Strong expertise in React and TypeScript.
- Experience with Moodle or Learning Management Systems is an advantage.
- Ability to develop secure, customer-facing platforms.
- Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and API development.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and tackle complex technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
