Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with active SC Clearance to support the development of innovative AI-powered applications and data platforms for a Defence Technology organisation. The contractor will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable applications and integrate complex data pipelines. This role is critical in delivering next-generation mission-critical software solutions within secure environments, focusing on AI and Large Language Model capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications within secure environments.
- Build and integrate scalable data pipelines supporting AI and analytics workloads.
- Develop backend services and APIs using Python.
- Create responsive front-end applications and user interfaces.
- Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into operational platforms and applications.
- Support the development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI-driven workflows.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Architects, and Platform Engineers to deliver innovative technical solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps best practices.
Requirements
- Active SC Clearance.
- Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer.
- Excellent Python development skills.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data-driven applications.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Front-end development experience using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
