Full Stack Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Java and React to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing customer-facing services that handle high traffic and are essential to users daily. Working in a collaborative environment, you will draw on your experience to build both backend and frontend components, ensuring high-quality software delivery for a regulated sector.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop front-end applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, incorporating Node.js where applicable.
• Design and implement event-driven services utilizing Kafka.
• Collaborate with databases, primarily PostgreSQL, and manage deployments on OpenShift.
• Employ AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot in your workflow.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong skills in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and Kafka.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, REST, and GraphQL.
• Understanding of containerized deployment practices.
• Experience or comfort with AI-assisted tools in development workflow.
