Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a 3-month contract focused on developing next-generation AI and intelligence software for a fast-growing technology business in the UK. Working remotely, you will join a collaborative engineering team to tackle complex problems related to distributed systems, cloud platforms, and AI-enabled workflows, while influencing the technical direction of projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using TypeScript and Node.js.
- Build modern web applications and user interfaces with React.
- Develop REST APIs and event-driven services.
- Work with cloud-native architectures on AWS.
- Design secure and maintainable software solutions.
- Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineers to establish scalable deployment pipelines.
- Participate in architecture, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Proven experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in React development.
- Experience in REST API development and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git.
- Experience with automated testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of Agile software development practices.
- Active SC Clearance is highly desirable.
