Overview
The Senior Full-Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced LLM-powered autonomous agents aimed at automating internal workflows. The contractor will work closely with a team focused on designing and deploying robust and reliable agent systems, contributing expertise in both front-end and back-end development using React and Node.js. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in full-stack development and relevant experience in agentic system design and orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement LLM-powered autonomous agents for internal workflows.
- Design and maintain scalable web applications using React and Node.js.
- Create and optimize API services and async workflows.
- Collaborate with team members to define and improve tool-use pipelines and orchestration logic.
- Conduct prompt engineering and evaluate LLM performance effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Extensive commercial experience with React, including hooks and state management, using TypeScript.
- Significant experience in Node.js, focusing on API design and asynchronous workflows.
- Demonstrated background in building LLM-powered applications or agents with frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Proficient understanding of prompt engineering and LLM evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) is a plus.
- Exposure to Python-based frameworks and tools is advantageous.
- Experience with streaming responses or websockets is preferred.
- Working knowledge of cloud deployment on platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for AI workloads.
