Overview
We are seeking a Contract Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in AWS, React, and Python to join our team for a 6+ month engagement. In this role, the engineer will play a crucial part in developing a cloud-native SaaS platform that leverages AI technologies, working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure architectural integrity and scalability. The ideal candidate will take ownership of both frontend and backend components while influencing technical direction and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable SaaS applications.
- Develop modern frontend applications using React.
- Build secure and high-performance backend services using Python and Node.js.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop scalable multi-tenant architectures with appropriate security and data separation.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Integrate third-party services and AI-powered functionality where appropriate.
Requirements
- 5+ years' commercial full-stack software engineering experience.
- Proven experience building and scaling SaaS products.
- Strong AWS cloud architecture experience.
- Advanced React development skills.
- Strong backend development using Python and Node.js.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
