Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer for a remote contract position focused on developing and maintaining scalable web applications. The contractor will work with a team of product managers, QA, and engineering professionals to design high-performance backend services and deploy cloud-native solutions. The role emphasizes collaborating across the software development lifecycle to deliver robust and optimized applications using modern technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
- Build and enhance RESTful microservices using Python and FastAPI.
- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on Google Cloud Run.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
- Design and optimize database solutions and data access layers.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams throughout the SDLC.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, proficient in Python and FastAPI.
- Strong expertise in React.js and developing responsive web applications.
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Cloud Run.
- Familiarity with SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Proficient in version control using Git.
- Solid understanding of application performance optimization techniques.
