Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack .NET Developer for a 12-month contract position focused on a major enterprise transformation programme. The successful candidate will collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Test teams to develop secure and scalable enterprise-grade applications and RESTful APIs in a fully remote setting, with occasional travel. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects within an Agile, DevOps environment, working alongside a skilled technical team.
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-grade applications and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Test teams.
- Deliver secure and scalable solutions within an Agile, DevOps environment.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC/Core and Web API.
- Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficient in Entity Framework and/or Dapper.
- Solid SQL skills with SQL Server or MySQL.
- Familiarity with OAuth/OAuth2, OpenID, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with Azure, CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
- Desirable experience in UK Government, Defence, or Public Sector programmes.
