Overview
The Functional Specialist will play a critical role in a major transformation project focused on implementing Workday Financials for a newly acquired organization in the insurance sector. The contractor will collaborate with various stakeholders to assess the existing Workday setup, define the current configuration, and align financial processes during the integration phase. This position emphasizes system design, process alignment, and fit-gap analysis to ensure successful implementation.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess existing Workday setup across the business.
- Define current configuration, inputs, and system design structure.
- Conduct detailed fit-gap analysis between current processes and future requirements.
- Support financial process alignment during acquisition integration.
- Contribute to design decisions across reporting, consolidation, and sub-consolidation.
Requirements
- Strong background in Workday Financials implementations.
- Experience within the insurance sector is preferred.
- Solid finance systems or finance transformation background.
- Knowledge of reporting, consolidation, and sub-consolidation in Workday.
- Experience working on multiple end-to-end Workday implementations.
