Overview
We are seeking a Global Governance, Investigations and Assurance Lead for an interim assignment focused on transforming governance frameworks within a large international B2C organization. This role requires a skilled governance professional to design and implement standards for managing operational incidents and ensuring compliance across numerous countries, balancing global consistency with regional nuances. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance governance processes and promote effective risk management strategies within a complex operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a global governance and investigations framework.
- Develop policies, standards and procedures related to operational incidents and safeguarding concerns.
- Establish consistent governance processes while considering regional legislative and cultural differences.
- Design assurance processes that promote organisational learning and continuous improvement.
- Develop executive reporting and governance metrics to support senior leadership.
- Drive consistent application of best practices across a multinational organization.
Requirements
- Experience working within a large multinational organization.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement governance or assurance frameworks across multiple countries.
- Experience in developing governance policies related to safeguarding, compliance, or operational risk.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management and influencing senior leaders in complex organizations.
- Proven experience leading governance transformation initiatives.
- Background in safeguarding, compliance, legal, HSE, or quality assurance is desirable.
