Overview

We are seeking a motivational and knowledgeable Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead weekly training sessions for individuals focused on weight loss and returning to fitness. This role involves creating tailored sessions that enhance strength, mobility, and overall fitness, while collaborating with football coaches to align with members' goals. The coach will engage with a diverse group of participants, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver weekly S&C sessions for diverse participants.
  • Incorporate safe and scalable exercises for various fitness levels.
  • Collaborate with coaches to align sessions with football training objectives.
  • Motivate and support members in a non-intimidating manner.
  • Monitor participation and track member progress over time.
  • Maintain professionalism, safety, and punctuality during sessions.

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
  • Experience with weight-loss clients or general population training.
  • Group training experience, including boot camps and circuits.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude with an inclusive coaching style.
  • First Aid certification and valid insurance required.
  • FA Coaching Level 1 is desirable but not essential.
