Overview

The Group Technology Project Manager will play a critical role in leading a major Identity & Access Management (IAM) Modernisation initiative within a significant technology transformation programme. This position calls for a delivery-focused Project Manager who will collaborate with internal technology teams, security specialists, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to ensure the project's successful execution while maintaining operational stability. The contractor will oversee the project through its full lifecycle, from planning and delivery to testing and operational transition, working within a complex technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of an enterprise-wide Identity & Access Management modernisation programme.
  • Drive the successful implementation of a controlled cloud-based Domain Controller capability.
  • Manage the project lifecycle from initiation through to enterprise rollout and operational handover.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including milestones, dependencies, budgets, resources, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure business continuity and minimise operational risk throughout implementation.
  • Oversee project governance, reporting, RAID management, change control, and stakeholder communications.
  • Monitor project performance across cost, quality, scope, timelines, and resource utilisation, taking corrective action where required.
  • Provide clear and effective communication to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' Project Management experience delivering enterprise technology and infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale transformation programmes within complex organisations.
  • Strong background delivering infrastructure migration projects, particularly with Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Experience with Identity & Access Management and cloud infrastructure initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to engage at all levels.
  • Excellent planning, governance, risk management, and delivery management capabilities.
  • PMP and/or PRINCE2 Certification required; Agile Project Management Accreditation and relevant IAM certifications are desirable.
  • Experience managing both onsite and remote project teams.
