Overview
As an HCM / Payroll Solution Design Architect, you will take on the role of the client-side design lead for various HCM and Payroll functions within Oracle Cloud ERP programmes. Collaborating closely with System Integrators and client teams, you will ensure that the design and implementation of solutions meet business needs while adhering to Oracle Cloud best practices. This position involves significant stakeholder engagement and the application of your deep expertise in Oracle HCM and Payroll to drive the successful delivery of complex digital transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead design workshops to develop end-to-end HCM and Payroll solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design decisions align with business requirements.
- Translate complex design considerations into clear solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
- Support the development and optimization of HR/Payroll operating models.
- Contribute to data migration and reporting strategies related to HR and Payroll processes.
- Attend Design Authority forums to provide design assurance and advise on best practices.
- Ensure the sustainability and scalability of implemented solutions post go-live.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to address planning, risks, and dependencies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HCM / Payroll Solution Design Architect on large-scale Oracle Cloud implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM, ERP, Payroll, and EPM applications.
- In-depth understanding of HR and Payroll business processes, particularly in the public sector.
- Experience in security design aligned with local government standards.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to advise and challenge design decisions made by System Integrators.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and supporting complex solution designs.
