Overview

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to support a major renewable energy project on an initial 12-month contract. This home-based position involves regular travel to project sites across the UK, with a focus on ensuring compliance and fostering a positive safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct health and safety assessments across project sites.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on safety practices.
  • Promote a positive safety culture within the project environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in health and safety within the construction industry.
  • Experience with solar, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent certification.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to commit to a full-time schedule of 5 days per week.
