Overview
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to support a major renewable energy project on an initial 12-month contract. This home-based position involves regular travel to project sites across the UK, with a focus on ensuring compliance and fostering a positive safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health and safety assessments across project sites.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Provide expert guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on safety practices.
- Promote a positive safety culture within the project environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in health and safety within the construction industry.
- Experience with solar, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent certification.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule of 5 days per week.
