Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hyper-V Engineer to play a critical role in the design, deployment, migration, and optimization of Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization within a leading FinTech organization. The incumbent will work on a hybrid basis, collaborating with teams to support a VMware to Hyper-V migration project over a contract period of 3 to 6 months and will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of Virtualization solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy virtualization solutions using Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Support the migration project from VMware to Hyper-V.
- Administer and optimize Hyper-V environments at scale.
- Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
- Manage Windows Server administration related to Hyper-V.
- Evaluate and implement storage technologies relevant to virtualization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing and administering Hyper-V environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Experience with VMware to Hyper-V migration.
- Familiarity with storage technologies for virtualization.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
- Previous experience working in a FinTech environment is preferred.
