Overview
The Identity Specialist will play a crucial role in a major access transformation program within a large enterprise organization, primarily working in a mostly remote capacity. This position focuses on designing and implementing secure user access systems, collaborating with internal teams to enhance security practices, and driving the organization towards a modern identity-led access framework.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Conditional Access policies in Entra ID.
- Build persona-based access models for both standard and privileged users.
- Help define and deliver an identity-led access framework.
- Facilitate the transition from VPN-dependent access to a more secure model.
- Work hands-on with existing IAM and Microsoft technologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to upskill and improve security practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience in IAM and Identity Security roles.
- Hands-on experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
- Proven experience in implementing Conditional Access policies.
- Understanding of identity-led security and Zero Trust concepts.
- Familiarity with IAM tools, such as SailPoint IIQ or alternatives.
- Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions (e.g. Delinea, CyberArk, BeyondTrust).
- Comfortable working within enterprise environments.
