Overview
We are seeking an experienced IFS Functional Consultant, specializing in Finance, to support the implementation of IFS Cloud for a leading manufacturing group. This role will involve analyzing business requirements, designing finance solutions, and configuring various finance modules of IFS Cloud, ensuring alignment with best practices. The consultant will collaborate closely with finance stakeholders, technical teams, and project management throughout this 12-month assignment, which includes travel to overseas sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead the finance workstream in the IFS Cloud implementation project.
- Conduct business process analysis to gather requirements across various finance functions.
- Design and configure IFS Cloud Finance modules to ensure integration with other business processes.
- Support data migration and validation activities for financial data.
- Develop and execute test scripts for functional and integration testing.
- Collaborate with technical consultants on reporting and analytics integrations.
- Provide training and documentation for finance users on configurations and processes.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and configuration improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of one IFS Cloud or IFS Applications 10/11 implementation experience.
- Strong functional knowledge in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management.
- Familiarity with accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and financial controls.
- Experience with IFS configuration tools and workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and SQL.
- Understanding of reporting tools such as IFS Reporting or Crystal Reports.
- IFS Academy certification in Finance or professional finance certification is desirable.
