Overview
As an Independent Assessor for the Supply Chain Leadership Professional Degree Apprenticeship, you will be primarily responsible for preparing for, conducting, and grading End Point Assessments (EPAs). This role requires a strong commitment to quality assurance practices and adherence to regulatory standards. You will work flexibly on a task and finish basis, contributing to the education landscape while collaborating with other professionals in the field.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and conduct End Point Assessments (EPAs) in accordance with institutional regulations.
- Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to learners.
- Record and upload relevant assessment materials to the appropriate systems in a timely manner.
- Serve as a credible ambassador for the institution by exemplifying core values.
- Utilise available resources effectively to promote continuous improvement.
- Adapt to changing circumstances and prioritise tasks accordingly.
Requirements
- Hold an Assessor Award such as TAQA/A Award/D32/D33 or have substantial experience in assessment.
- Possess functional skills at Level 2 in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of five years experience in supply chain management and hold professional status equivalent to a university lecturer or professor.
- Demonstrate knowledge of apprenticeship standards and End Point Assessment methods.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and robust IT skills.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
