Overview
The Information Technology Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in a transformation programme focused on enhancing operations and reservations for a leisure and hospitality operator. Collaborating closely with the Change Manager, the contractor will gather and define requirements, assist in vendor selection, and contribute to the design of future-state processes across multiple workstreams. This position is integral to bridging business needs with technical delivery and will involve process mapping and documentation as needed.
Responsibilities
- Gather and define business requirements for the reservations transformation programme.
- Support the vendor selection process for a new core reservation system.
- Collaborate with the Change Manager to shape future-state processes.
- Facilitate user engagement and communication to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Document processes and provide mapping for reservations and associated workstreams.
- Assist in bridging the gap between technical delivery and business requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to the wider programme as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within IT or transformation projects.
- Familiarity with reservations systems or similar applications in the leisure and hospitality sector.
- Strong ability in requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Experience in vendor selection and system design processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across multiple workstreams and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in documentation and presentation of business processes.
