Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Field Engineer for a contract opportunity to support a desktop refresh project across multiple sites. The role involves engaging with end users to deploy laptops, replace hardware, and provide onsite technical support. The contractor will work closely with team members and clients to ensure a smooth refresh process during the month of August.
Responsibilities
- Replace docking stations on user desks.
- Deploy and hand out laptops to end users.
- Provide onsite IT support and troubleshoot any issues.
- Complete hardware refresh activities across multiple sites.
- Perform additional firewall replacement tasks at the Llanelli site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Field Engineer or in Desktop Support.
- Demonstrated skills in laptop deployment and hardware refresh.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities and customer-facing experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel to all assigned locations.
- Availability for the month of August.
