Information Technology Field Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Field Engineer to assist with a short-term hardware refresh project at a client site. The contractor will be responsible for hands-on desktop support, working directly with end users to ensure hardware installations are carried out smoothly and efficiently. This onsite role is particularly suited for a local engineer with a strong background in desktop support and hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Replace desktop docking stations.
• Provide hands-on support to end users during the hardware deployment.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process.
• Ensure that all hardware installations are completed efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an IT Field Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or IT Support Engineer.
• Experience with laptop deployments and hardware installations.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer-facing communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently onsite.
