Overview
We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to join a leading organization in the transport and logistics sector on an initial 6-month rolling contract. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding critical systems, operational technology, and data through effective monitoring of security controls, risk assessments, and support for audits. You will collaborate with a dedicated security team in a dynamic and complex enterprise environment to promote best practices in cyber security.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve information security controls across the IT estate.
- Support risk assessments, internal audits, and compliance activities.
- Investigate security incidents, phishing reports, and alerts.
- Produce regular security reporting, metrics, and risk updates.
- Support vulnerability management and security testing.
- Deliver cyber security awareness initiatives and training.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to strengthen security governance.
- Maintain security documentation and provide guidance on security best practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Information Security, Cyber Security, or IT Security Analyst role.
- Strong understanding of security principles including risk management, vulnerability management, incident response, and access control.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or Cyber Essentials.
- Experience with common security technologies including endpoint protection, firewalls, authentication, and logging tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SC-900, Network+, or ISO 27001 are desirable.
