Overview
As an Infrastructure Architect, you will join a dynamic Strategy & Architecture team, focusing on the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise infrastructure architecture. The role emphasizes migrating legacy data centers to Microsoft Azure while ensuring the development of secure and scalable cloud platforms. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and teams to deliver effective infrastructure solutions that align with the organizational goals and support major transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and governance of enterprise infrastructure architecture.
- Oversee the migration of legacy data centers to Microsoft Azure.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to develop secure, scalable cloud solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance across infrastructure, cloud, and platform initiatives.
- Shape the infrastructure strategy and roadmap towards a cloud-first environment.
- Support infrastructure architecture for mergers, acquisitions, and business separations.
- Implement modern cloud security practices and oversee compliance with security protocols.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as an Infrastructure Architect in large, complex organizations.
- Hands-on experience with major infrastructure transformation projects, including cloud migrations.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and experience in designing enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
- Broad expertise across infrastructure components such as compute, storage, and networking.
- Familiarity with ERP transformations and cloud-based solutions, including SAP RISE.
- Understanding of operational technology (OT) integration within manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of modern cloud security practices, including Entra ID and Zero Trust principles.
