Infrastructure Manager

Overview

The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organisation's IT infrastructure, with a focus on managing End User Computing and ensuring efficient service delivery from the IT Service Desk. The role requires a hands-on approach, allowing the manager to directly engage with team members while leading infrastructure projects, enhancing operational processes, and supporting the upcoming merger with a larger business. This position demands a technically proficient leader who can also strategize for disaster recovery and IT security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and support the organisation's IT infrastructure.
• Ensure the IT Service Desk provides efficient service to users.
• Lead disaster recovery planning, including policy development and maintenance.
• Drive infrastructure upgrades and oversee IT security initiatives.
• Support project delivery and operational improvements.
• Facilitate the integration and transition planning during the merger.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong technical skills in Azure, VMware, Windows Server, SQL Server, Microsoft 365.
• Experience in managing IT security and networking.
• Demonstrated capability in technical project delivery and infrastructure upgrades.
• Willingness to undergo a basic criminal record check.
• Ability to work onsite 4 days a week.
