Overview
The Integration Architect will serve as the technical lead and integration subject matter expert for an integration platform involving Salesforce and Jitterbit. Working closely with the CTO, CIO, and non-technical program leads, this role focuses on assessing options, defining architecture, and guiding the delivery team while facilitating workshops and producing clear artifacts for governance. This hands-on position requires a strong background in enterprise architecture and stakeholder management, and offers the flexibility of remote work with some occasional travel.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead and integration SME for the integration platform RFI/RFP.
- Produce enterprise and platform architecture artifacts such as models, mappings, and interaction views.
- Architect integration designs for Salesforce and Jitterbit, focusing on APIs and data flows.
- Define Salesforce solution architecture impacting integrations, including objects and APIs.
- Set platform guardrails for cross-platform dependency management and vendor alignment.
- Design governance and integration assurance processes, including decision records.
- Facilitate workshops and produce decision-focused artifacts for executive governance.
- Provide hands-on guidance to architects and engineers throughout the delivery process.
Requirements
- Strong background in Enterprise and Platform Architecture.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with CTOs and CIOs.
- Proven experience in producing architectural artifacts.
- Hands-on expertise in integration architecture, including REST and event-driven patterns.
- Experience with Salesforce architecture and integration.
- Familiarity with Jitterbit or similar iPaaS solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration).
- Experience in multi-vendor, complex environments.
- Preferred: exposure to capital or asset-intensive delivery environments.
