As a Contract Interaction Designer specializing in trauma-informed services, you will be responsible for creating accessible and safe digital experiences for users who have experienced trauma and vulnerability. Working within a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid setup, you will focus on healthcare-related projects where user trust and psychological safety are paramount. Your design approach will help shape sensitive service journeys, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of users, particularly in the context of healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

  • Design user flows for complex service journeys related to trauma-informed care.
  • Translate user research findings into effective interaction design solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including researchers and clinicians.
  • Prototype and iterate designs based on user feedback and testing.
  • Ensure that accessibility and safeguarding considerations are integrated into design processes.
  • Apply trauma-informed and ethical design principles effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Interaction or UX Designer.
  • Background in healthcare, social care, or services for vulnerable users.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed design principles.
  • Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with qualitative research insights.
