Overview
The Interim Business Systems & Transformation Consultant will play a crucial role in a significant business transformation program, helping to streamline processes and maximize the use of existing Microsoft technologies. Collaborating closely with the Business Transformation Lead and engaging with stakeholders, the consultant will focus on identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements using tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate. This initial six-month hybrid contract, with a strong potential for extension, requires a professional capable of influencing technology support strategies within the organization and driving process enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Business Transformation Lead to drive process improvements and technology solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in existing business systems.
- Implement practical enhancements using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Support the evaluation and future implementation of a new ERP platform.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements to gather requirements and feedback.
- Travel to depot locations as necessary to understand operational processes first-hand.
- Contribute to the transformation roadmap by identifying quick wins and long-term goals.
Requirements
- Strong business analysis and process mapping experience with a focus on delivering improvements.
- Proven expertise in business or digital transformation programs.
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate solutions development.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Business Central, Sage, Epicor, D365, or Kerridge.
- Background in Business Transformation, Business Systems, or Senior Business Analysis.
- Certification in business analysis, change management, or related disciplines is preferred.
