Overview
The Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO) will play a pivotal role in leading the UK technology function of a prominent global professional services organisation. This role involves overseeing technology operations across the UK, India, and third-party partners, while managing senior leaders in Technology, Security, and IT Governance. The Interim CIO will focus on driving significant transformation initiatives, refining technology strategies, and ensuring effective delivery of technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UK technology function and oversee the performance of senior leaders in Technology, Security, and IT Governance.
- Implement and refine enterprise technology strategy and roadmap initiatives.
- Oversee the rollout of Workday across HR and Finance departments.
- Drive Data & AI transformation initiatives to enhance organizational capabilities.
- Direct deployment strategies for Microsoft Copilot and intelligent automation processes.
- Lead efforts in legacy technology modernisation and technology investment optimisation.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating at a CIO level within a complex, multi-site organisation.
- Demonstrated track record of leading successful enterprise-wide technology transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of technology strategy and investment decision-making.
- Proficiency in managing large-scale IT projects and delivering measurable business value.
