Overview
The Interim Finance Director will play a crucial role in supporting an international technology company's growth and expansion activities. The position focuses on stabilizing and professionalizing finance and procurement operations, with key involvement in upcoming acquisitions and implementation of financial systems. This role provides an opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's finance functions from day one, while working closely with senior leadership and teams across different jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Optimize finance and procurement processes to enhance efficiency and control.
- Provide financial analysis and planning support for a planned European acquisition.
- Develop and assess finance and procurement teams, implementing industry best practices.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling for multiple entities.
- Support the implementation and post-launch of Dynamics 365.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations across jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in change management and team development.
- Track record of handling acquisitions and integration planning.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with execution capabilities.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365.
- Experience managing cross-border teams and complex financial operations.
- Demonstrated senior finance leadership in capital-intensive or infrastructure-heavy sectors.
- Spanish language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
