Overview
The Interim Finance Director will play a pivotal role in supporting a software business during a significant transformation project, focusing on the implementation of a new ERP and product development. The contractor will work closely with the C-Suite to enhance financial operations and contribute to the company's strategic value creation plan, particularly in preparation for an exit by 2028.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end ERP implementation process.
- Professionalise and streamline existing financial controls.
- Identify and analyze product areas to inform strategic decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights to senior management.
- Maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience in private equity, particularly within mid-market and upwards portfolios.
- Proven experience leading an end-to-end ERP implementation.
- Strong operational finance experience to support strategic initiatives.
