Overview
The Interim Finance Director will lead the financial integration efforts following a recent acquisition within a growing group. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, the contractor will play a crucial role in shaping the financial infrastructure and providing strategic financial oversight to support continued business growth. This position requires a seasoned finance professional who is able to make impactful decisions in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of financial operations post-acquisition.
- Build and enhance the financial infrastructure for the business.
- Implement cost capture and management reporting systems.
- Produce timely and accurate management accounts.
- Collaborate with a newly hired Financial Controller to develop their skills and transition responsibilities.
- Provide financial visibility to support ongoing business growth.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader.
- Proven track record in managing financial functions in a project-based or contract-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost management and long-term contract accounting.
- Ability to influence and make decisions in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in building finance teams or functions from the ground up is preferred.
