Overview
The Interim Finance Process Lead (AP/AR) will support a leading organization during a transitional phase by enhancing transactional finance processes. This role involves reviewing and optimizing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, with a strong emphasis on improving efficiency and fostering process consistency. The successful candidate will work closely with the Transactional Finance Lead to implement changes and maximize the effectiveness of the D365 system across finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess current AP, AR, and finance operations processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable process improvements.
- Help embed and stabilize the new transactional finance operating model.
- Drive process standardization and consistency across teams.
- Strengthen financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Optimize usage of D365 to leverage full system capabilities.
- Deliver improvements in a live operational environment.
Requirements
- Strong background in transactional finance (AP, AR, finance operations).
- Hands-on experience in embedding change within live finance environments.
- Extensive D365 experience, particularly in post-implementation optimization.
- Experience in improving system utilization rather than leading ERP implementations.
- Comfortable operating in lean teams with operational complexity.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities.
- Able to operate autonomously and with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.
