Overview
We are seeking an Interim Finance Systems Lead with expertise in Sage X3 for a 4-6 month contract. The successful contractor will play a pivotal role in upgrading and implementing the new financial system, collaborating closely with the CFO and the IT Director to ensure a smooth transition and effective system adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead the initial implementation phase of the finance module within SAGE X3.
- Collaborate with a technology partner to implement financial systems and reporting tools.
- Analyse current financial data and perform cleansing pre-installation.
- Work alongside the IT Director and CFO to design solutions based on business needs.
- Provide expertise in configuring, customising, and optimising the system.
- Conduct testing, quality assurance, and user training for successful system adoption.
- Act as a liaison between the technical team and business users to address concerns and ensure alignment.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA) with significant experience in implementing SAGE finance modules, specifically SAGE X3.
- Proven track record in end-to-end implementations and system upgrades of SAGE X3.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to navigate complex business requirements and align them with technical solutions.
