Overview
The Interim Finance Systems Lead will manage financial systems and processes in a medium-sized not-for-profit organization. This temporary position offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while ensuring robust accounting support. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams, provide technical support, and deliver user training, all within a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise financial systems to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and workflows.
- Provide technical support for financial software and resolve system-related issues.
- Develop and deliver user training for financial systems and tools.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and data analysis for stakeholders.
- Support system upgrades and implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor and enforce data integrity and security protocols.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven background in accounting and financial systems management within the not-for-profit sector.
- Qualified by experience (QBE), part-qualified (PQ), or fully qualified accountant.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining accounting software solutions.
- Proficient in financial reporting and data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of best practices in financial compliance and data security.
