Overview
The Interim Finance Transformation Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting a critical D365 implementation program for a growing international consumer brand. Working under the senior FP&A leadership, the contractor will be responsible for leading the consolidation and reporting workstream, collaborating closely with Financial Control, FP&A, and data and technology teams to ensure successful outcomes in the finance transformation journey. This position calls for a highly qualified finance professional with hands-on experience in D365 consolidation and reporting, capable of navigating a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the finance workstream for group consolidation and management reporting within the D365 implementation.
- Act as the hands-on finance subject matter expert across group consolidation, intercompany accounting, and chart of accounts design.
- Oversee data migration activity into D365, managing risks and ensuring data quality.
- Assess reporting and analytics requirements for optimal delivery methods across D365, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Serve as a bridge between group finance and the D365 project team, translating business requirements into system solutions.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) across consolidation and reporting workstreams, ensuring reconciliation between legacy and new systems.
- Produce clear process documentation and reporting logic to aid knowledge transfer and control.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Proven experience as the finance lead on a D365 Finance and Operations implementation.
- Deep knowledge of group consolidation, intercompany accounting, and chart of accounts design from ERP implementations.
- Demonstrated track record of ownership in consolidation builds.
- Capacity to manage and adapt within a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Strong capability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across finance and technology functions.
