Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Consultant to join a well-known live entertainment organization on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will collaborate directly with the senior finance leader to develop and document financial models that support the organization's complex financial operations, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and data integration across multiple income streams. This engagement is expected to last approximately four to six months, providing a unique opportunity to influence the financial tooling of a high-profile entity.
Responsibilities
- Build an integrated three-statement model (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow).
- Rebuild and redraft a batch of core financial models for robustness and maintainability.
- Document assumptions and logic for models to be operated and updated by multiple users.
- Link models to reporting drawn from the organisation's finance system (Access Financials).
- Incorporate trackable details to identify variance drivers without complicating the models.
- Support scenario and forecasting work relating to distribution-channel mix and ticket sales volumes.
- Translate supplied assumptions and business knowledge into effective financial tooling.
- Create dashboards and reports for independent use by the wider team.
Requirements
- Exceptional Excel financial modelling skills with experience in robust, maintainable models, including integrated three-statement models.
- Proven ability to link models to reporting from a finance system.
- Competent in taking business assumptions and turning them into clean financial tooling without exhaustive details.
- Experience in organizations with comparable size and complexity, ideally around £10m turnover with multiple income streams and an international scope.
- Familiarity with Access Financials is desirable.
- Experience in scenario and forecasting modelling is a plus.
