Overview
The Interim Integration / Finance Transformation Director will play a pivotal role in supporting the integration of a recently acquired business into a private equity-backed enterprise software group. This position is hands-on and involves taking charge of commercial operations, enhancing finance processes, and ensuring effective integration within the broader organization. The role has the potential to evolve into broader strategic finance transformation efforts as the project progresses.
Responsibilities
- Scope the full customer and supplier contract base, mapping existing agreements and identifying gaps.
- Understand current pricing strategies and address historical underpricing issues.
- Identify necessary changes across commercial operations, controls, and processes.
- Establish requirements to retain key customers and suppliers during the transition.
- Enhance finance processes and controls to meet higher operational standards.
- Integrate management information and reporting into the group's platform.
- Align supplier terms to ensure consistency across the group.
- Move customer contracts towards a pricing uplift and implement robust governance around the contract base.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, particularly in B2B settings; experience in software is a plus.
- Proven experience in finance integration projects, ideally within an M&A context.
- Ability to quickly install effective governance and controls.
- Experience in private equity environments is highly desirable.
