Overview
We are seeking an Interim NPD Project Manager with a strong background in FMCG innovation to oversee exciting product development initiatives within dairy and plant-based categories. This role will involve managing cross-functional teams and bringing projects from concept to market, ensuring alignment and timely delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in influencing stakeholders and driving business growth through effective project management.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from strategic sign-off through to launch, ensuring timely and complete delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams across marketing, finance, commercial, R&D, and supply chain to drive project success.
- Own and manage the project critical path, facilitating meetings and managing risks.
- Provide regular project updates and influence stakeholders to meet project milestones.
- Support the prioritization of the project portfolio based on business needs.
- Prepare updates for monthly innovation and category meetings to keep all parties informed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end projects, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle complex projects and tight deadlines.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize effectively under pressure.
- Commercially aware, capable of challenging assumptions to meet project objectives.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills across various functions.
- Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail; full driving license required due to travel between sites.
