Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interim Senior Accountant (IFRS) to join a high-growth Artificial Intelligence-powered SaaS company on a short-term basis. This role will involve comprehensive ownership of group IFRS reporting and audit across multiple territories including the UK, Europe, and the US, in collaboration with the Director of Finance to support strategic decision-making and international growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Drive group consolidations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting from local GAAP into IFRS.
- Lead the preparation for the group audit.
- Prepare financial statements for European entities.
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements.
- Serve as the point of contact for all IFRS-related questions from auditors and finance team members.
- Implement and maintain robust, scalable finance processes for international operations.
- Partner with the Director of Finance on ad hoc initiatives, providing financial insight and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve controls at the group level.
Requirements
- ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification.
- 5+ years of experience in the IFRS department at an audit or accounting firm.
- Experience in a scale-up, fast-paced, international environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
- Previous experience consolidating financial statements in line with various European entity accounting laws.
