Overview
The Interim Senior FP&A Consultant will be instrumental in supporting a high-growth business through a critical transaction readiness programme. This role involves collaboration with the Finance Director and external advisers, and focuses on strategic financial planning and ensuring the business is prepared for financial due diligence. The position requires significant on-site presence, offering a unique opportunity to influence key financial decisions during a pivotal period for the company.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a 3-5 year integrated financial model to support strategic planning.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across the business.
- Support the Finance Director and external advisers throughout the transaction readiness process.
- Prepare the business for financial due diligence, ensuring accuracy and robustness of financial information.
- Build and manage the virtual data room, coordinating documentation requests from advisers and investors.
- Partner with operational stakeholders to enhance financial insights and decision-making.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant, preferably with a background in Transaction Services or Corporate Finance.
- Experience in Corporate Finance or Transaction Services, followed by an in-house FP&A role.
- Strong experience in transaction readiness, financial due diligence, or private equity-backed environments.
- Advanced financial modelling skills to build investor-grade integrated models.
- Commercially minded and adept at operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Availability to start immediately or at short notice.
