Overview
The Interim Technology Transformation Director will play a pivotal role in leading a significant technology transformation, focusing specifically on the recovery and enhancement of a complex Salesforce environment. Collaborating closely with the Executive Director of Digital, Data & Technology, this position aims to establish robust technical governance and build a high-performing internal technology function, ensuring the long-term success of the organization. This role demands a dynamic leader who can drive change and improve quality assurance while transitioning capabilities from third-party suppliers to internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical recovery and rebuild of the Salesforce environment.
- Establish best practice and strong technical governance for technology operations.
- Reduce reliance on third-party suppliers by developing internal capabilities.
- Build and lead a high-performing technology team, including recruiting key specialists.
- Tackle technical debt and implement effective quality assurance processes.
- Influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership in the transformation process.
- Ensure the technology function is prepared for long-term success and maturity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in recovering or transforming complex Salesforce environments, particularly with Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing technology teams.
- Strong expertise in establishing technical governance and quality assurance processes.
- Experience managing technical debt and transitioning capabilities from outsourced to internal teams.
- Ability to engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders effectively.
