Overview
We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer on a contract basis, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing technology consultancy focused on delivering large-scale digital transformation projects for key public sector organizations. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and enhance native iOS applications while influencing product development through architectural decisions and engineering best practices. This role allows for a mix of remote work with occasional onsite collaboration sessions to foster teamwork and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance native iOS applications using Swift.
- Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and cloud services.
- Work closely with Product and Design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Contribute to architecture, code quality, and engineering best practices.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
- Investigate new technologies and AI-assisted development tooling to enhance engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in developing native iOS applications.
- Excellent knowledge of Swift programming language.
- Experience in building production mobile applications at scale.
- Solid understanding of modern iOS architecture and engineering best practices.
- Comfortable working within collaborative Agile engineering teams.
- Experience within product-led organizations is preferred.
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges effectively.
- Familiarity with SwiftUI, CI/CD for mobile applications, and cloud-native applications is a plus.
