Overview
The IT Infrastructure Engineer will provide 2nd and 3rd line support, focusing on the administration of Microsoft 365, including user management and security configuration. This hybrid role involves working both on-site and remotely, collaborating with various technical teams to ensure smooth operation and integration of IT infrastructure components over the course of a three-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for IT infrastructure issues.
- Administer the Microsoft 365 stack, including user management and license assignment.
- Configure and monitor security settings across cloud-based systems.
- Manage email services, including client configuration and troubleshooting.
- Deploy and maintain both physical servers and virtual environments.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure system health and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in 2nd and 3rd line support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 administration.
- Experience with Active Directory and user management practices.
- Familiarity with email service management tools like Mimecast and MS Exchange.
- Understanding of server and system administration in a hybrid environment.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.
